The team did an otoendoscopy that revealed a pinkish pale-non-pulsatile mass behind the intact tympanic membrane at the posterosuperior quadrant.Further examination showed that the patient had right sided Grade V lower motor neuronal facial palsy and her high-resolution computed tomography of Temporal bone revealed a mass in the facial recess eroding the posterior genu of the facial nerve,which suggests facial nerve Schwannoma.

The fast chargers follow CCS-2 Protocol and are strategically located at nine of its fuel stations with an approximate distance of 100 kms on both sides of the routes.

AaKASH BYJU'S LAUNCHES " EDUCATION ' FOR ALL TOWARDS INCLUSIVITY & EMPOWERMENT OF THE GIRL CHILD.

 To celebrate the Government of India's ' Azaadika Amrit Mahotsava' initiative,Aakash BYJU's,is organising a major drive towards inclusivity & empowerment of girl students in the arena of private coaching for higher education through 'Education for all',a nationwide project to offer free NEET and JEE coaching & scholarships to nearly 2000 class VII-XII students from under privileged families, especially  girls.

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS -INDIA - ANNUAL REAL ESTATE CONVENTION IN BENGALURU.

National Association of Realtors-India (NAR-India),the extended arm of NAR-USA,will hold the 14th Annual Convention of Realtors,Two day event on 6th & 7th August, at the iconic Bangalore Palace.This two day event will attract 2000 stakeholders from the real estate sector to discuss the current situation & the future of the Indian Real Estate Sector .This event will bring together participants from the Government, regulatory bodies & the leaders from the real estate sector.

The event will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Karnataka,Shri.Basavaraj Bommai. The participants will be viz: Mr.Samir Arora,President NAR-India &CREA(I),Mr.Ravi Varma,Vice Chairman-NAR India,Mr.Sumanth Reddy,Immediate Past President NAR India Mr.Tarun Bhatia,President Elect,NAR IndiaMr.Shiva Kumar,Convention Chairman, Mr.Pradeep Joe,Convention  Co Chairman Mr. Santosh Avalakki & NAR Global Ambassador- Mr.Pradeep B Shukla.

The theme of this year's Convention is "Yes Realtor" to highlight "Respect for the profession" & ' "Respect for the professional".The event is hosted by CREA (I),the Confederation of Real Estate Associates (India) based in Bengaluru.The knowledge partners are IIM-Bangalore & CREDAI-Bengaluru are the official support partners for the event.

The Chairman of the Convention . Mr.Pradeep Joe, said," The real estate sector's contribution to the country's GDP is about 12% & one of the highest employers in the country& hence the real estate sector deserves the Industry status."

Further, the convention will focus on repositioning of the realtors in the eyes of the general public.The convention will set the tone for requesting for One single Licence for realtors Pan India.

PRIVATISATION OF PUBLIC SECTOR BANKS - NOT A GOOD MOVE.

 State Bank of India  (SBI) Chairman Dinesh Kumar Khara  has rightly said that performance is NOT based on who owns it. He said it in response to a paper  by Columbia University Professor Arvind Panagariya & Poonam Gupta of NCAER. They had recently suggested privatisation of all Public sector Banks except SBI.

14  Banks were nationalised in July,1969 & other  6 Banks were nationalised in 1980. It was the need of the hour then  as the banks  were only concentrating  in Big cities & large chunk of our country remained unbanked.Then the government &  RBI came out with a policy that if a bank wants to  open a branch in Metropolitan area,they have to open atleast Two branches in Rural areas which were unbanked. This move by the government enabled banks to finance agriculture & allied activities which was a big relief to people in rural areas. The banks then financed for agriculture,its related activities  thus relieving the poor farmers from the clutches of money lenders. No Private sector banks were ready to move & Operate in  the rural areas then. Now, we are in 2022 after half a century of bank nationalisation in 1969,the network of branches in rural/semi urban areas of the country are fully covered  mostly by SBI & Nationalised banks .

Privatisation is not a panacea for all the ills in the banking sector. Even some private banks have failed right from the days of Palai Central Bank which was 17th largest scheduled Bank in 1960.What Nationalised banks require is Management by  Professionals,Non Interference by Government .The government can reduce their stake in Nationalised banks to 51 % or even less to 35% to 40% by offering for sale to the Indian Public. & the Board should have more successful bankers as Directors.

APOLLO CANCER CENTRES CELEBRATE LIFE AFTER CANCER WITH PEAK-TO-PEAK INITIATIVE.

 Apollo Cancer Centres celebrate  ' Life After Cancer' with its recent initiative 'Peak To Peak- winning over cancer'- a 5 day trek with cancer survivors & care givers.The initiative,which was flagged off from Dehradun in June 2022.

Eight cancer survivors from different parts of the country embarked on a memorable journey from Dehradun to Dayara Bugyal in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand,traversing along the luscious green meadows & rich landscape to scale the height of 11,830 feet.

Dr.Rani Akhil Bhat, Lead Surgeon Consultant - Gynec Oncology,Apollo Cancer Centres and Archana Hosangadi (50 years old),one of the cancer survivors from Bengaluru who scaled a height of 11,830 feet,in Uttarakhand,were a part of the initiative." The event was a symbol of celebration for those who have survived,an Inspiration for those recently diagnosed, a gathering of support for families,and an Outreach to the community" said, Dr.Bhat.

Dr.Jayanti Thumsi, Lead Surgeon,Breast Oncology,Apollo Cancer Centres,who treated Archana pointed out that there has been an immense advancement in the treatment of Breast cancer.

Both the doctors has suggested the  for early diagnosis & Treatment as the Cancer is treatable.They suggested that women should take just 10 minutes atleast at frequent intervals to self examination  of their breasts. They should also get 'Breast Screening' & mammogram done on regular basis with change of Lifestyle.
