UNIFORM CIVIL CODE- IF NOT NOW, WHEN?

 Article 44 of the Constitution,part of the Directive principle of the state policy,provides that the state shall endeavour to secure the citizens an Uniform civil code throughout the territory of India.One Country,One Law,  UCC envisages that having a common Law for all citizens of the country that is not based on religion.Personal Laws related to inheritance,adoption & succession are likely to be covered by a common code.

UCC will ensure equality before law for all citizens in the country promised in article 14 of the constitution Viz :The state shall not deny to any person equality before the law or the equal protection of the laws within the territory of India.Implementing of UCC can help foster a sense of unity & belonging among  citizens by establishing a common set of laws that transcends religious boundaries.UCC will promote harmonious coexistence of  diverse communities.By harmonizing personal laws,UCC can bridge gaps & reduce divisions based on religion,fostering a cohesive & an inclusive society. The framers of the constitution strongly supported UCC ,as we can observe from article 44.

PROMOTING QUALITY NATIONWIDE- QCI EXTENDS ITS PHYSICAL PRESENCE WITH NABL & NABH BENGALURU OFFICE.

 The  Quality Council of India (QCI),in order to promote & enhance quality standards across diverse sectors,takes a significant step by inaugurating the Bengaluru office of National accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration Laboratories (NABL) and National Accreditation Board  for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH).Mr.Jaxay Shah,Chairperson QCI,Prof.Subbanna Ayyappan, Chairperson NABL,Mr.N.Venkateshwaran,CEO,NABL, & few others attended the inauguration. QCI's Mission is to enhance quality infrastructure across various industries.India's accreditation system under QCI has been ranked 5th globally.



Speaking on the occasion,Mr.Jaxay Shah,Chairperson,QCI said," Inaugurating the Bengaluru Office of NABL & NABH represents our collective determination to enhance quality infrastructure in India.We urge the government of karnataka to partner with Quality Council of India in order to improve the quality of life of the citizens of the state".

Under India's G20 Presidency,the Department of Space has organised the 4th edition of G20  Space Economy Leaders meeting (SELM) on July,6 & 7 in Bengaluru. The theme of the meting is "Towards A New Space ERA-(Economy,Responsibility & Alliance).Heads of National Space Agencies (HOA) of G20 Countries assembled in Bengaluru to discuss about the Space economy. The next SELM Meeting will be held in Brazil.
