Shibulal,(Co-Founder of Infosys) & his family began its philanthropic journey in 1998 by establishing a scholarship scheme in S.D.Shibulal's hometown in Kerala.Since then,several initiatives have been launched & grown to benefit individuals throughout India. With a focus on transforming lives,the Shibulal's Family Philanthropic Initiatives (SFPI) brings sustainable improvements into the lives of under privileged through education, healthcare,sustainable farming& social welfare.SFPI's activities has scaled through the years and has impacted the lives of several thousand families across India.
This is the first time SFPI has forayed into the realm of art & culture.
Sangamam is the latest initiative SFPI which organised the Carnatic music programme by renowned Carnatic Music Exponent Ms.Ranjani &Ms.Gayathri at Jyoti Nivas College Auditorium,Bengaluru yesterday. Through Sangamam, "we celebrate Indian Art & Culture" says Ms.Kumari Shibulal,Co-Founder of SFPI. This programme was inspired by Mr.Shibulal & his family's passion for Carnatic Classical Music.
