9th INTERNATIONAL YOUNG CHEF OLYMPIAD 2023 ORGANISED BY INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT.

IIHM YOUNG CHEF OLYMPIAD 2023 (YCO 2023)  Is an unique competitive event being held for the ninth time since its inception in 2015 with around 60 countries participating this time.Held under the auspices of the International Hospitality Council,UK,the competition  is organised by International Institute of Hotel management (IIHM),a part of Indismart group.IIHM has announced the schedule of YCO 2023 which is as follows:
1.29th January 2023- IIHM-YCO Global Congress on sustainability in Hospitality and Tourism at Siri Fort Auditorium,New Delhi. 

2. 29th January,2023 - Opening ceremony at Siri Fort Auditorium,New Delhi.
3. 31 st January & 1st February,2023 - Round 1 for groups C-F at IIHM Goa,IIHM,Bengaluru,IIHM,Pune  and IIHM,Hyderabad campuses  and also the announcement of qualifiers for the Grand Finale,Plate Trophy,and YCO Dr.Suborno Bose Challenge,International United World of Chefs at IIHM,Kolkata Global campus.
4.3rd  February,2023,-Grand Finale & Plate Trophy Finale   at IIHM Global Campus,Kolkata 
5.  4th February,2023 - Awards Nite & Closing Ceremony at Nicco Park Complex,Salt Lake City,Kolkata.


The 9th International IIHM Young Chef Olympiad 2023 will constitute a panel of finest Chef judges comprising some of the best known Chefs & Hospitality Stalwarts across the globe.The Chairman of the  Grand Jury  is the legendary,Prof.David Foskett,MBE and Principal Mentor,Padmashri Chef Sanjeev Kapoor.

AERO INDIA 2023 - 13TH TO 17th FEBRUARY 2023 AT AIR FORCE STATION, YELAHANKA,BENGALURU. KARNATAKA.


 Aero India is a biennial Air Show  and aviation exhibition held in Bengaluru from 13th February TO 17th February, at Air Force Station, Yelahanka,Bengaluru,Karnataka.

 As on date There are 647 exhibitors,of which Indian Exhibitors are :579 and Foreign Exhbitors:68.  24 countries will be participating in this Biennial event.

 Indian Society of Vascular & Interventional Radiology- Karnataka state chapter launched its Two day workshop  CIRCON-2023 -Clinical Interventional Radiology Conference 2023. This workshop introduces the latest technology in the field of vascular & Interventional Radiology to professionals & students.Interventional Radiology (IR) is a super speciality  amongst medical specialities.This is a specialised field in Radiology where image guidance,such as X-Rays,Ultra sound Computed Tomography(CT) & magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) are used to perform a wide range of minimally invasive procedures.This method is useful in treating mainly Uterine Fibroid (without removing Uterus)enlarged prostate (without Catheter,day care),Varicose veins (under local anesthesia),thyroid nodule (without neck scar),liver cancer (without surgery),peripheral arterial diseases (angioplasty) and many more. 

Speaking to media, Dr.Reddi prasad,President ISVIR Karnataka siad," IR's perform procedures through a tiny incision and this is termed as "Pin Hole" as opposed to Key Hole or open surgery".

Doctors suggested that  it will be better if the patients take opinion of Interventional  Radiologists before undergoing any major surgery.

MILLETS AND ORGANICS - INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR 2023 FROM 20TH JANUARY TO 22nd JANUARY,2023.

 Post Pandemic,people have become more conscious of healthy food and lifestyle and are switching to healthier diets and general well being.As the world looks for new choices in healthy and sustainable food, Millets and Organics,the traditional food that has been grown and consumed over the ages as the preferred diet.


The year 2023 is declared as " International Year of Millets" by United Nations.The Global production of Millets was 30.5 Million Tonnes,of which India alone produces 12.5 Million tonnes which works out to 41%  of the world production. Karnataka has been a fore runner in promoting Organics and Millets nationally and globally 7 held three successful events in 2017,2018 & 2019. The Fourth edition of this mega event "Millets & Organics -International Trade Fair,2023 will be held from 20-22 January,2023 at Tripuravasini,Palace Ground,Bengaluru.The Trade fair is organised by Dept.of Agriculture,Govt. of Karnataka in collaboration with KAPPEC and ICCOA as the knowledge partner.The three day mega event will hafe the Following:
1. Exhibition: There will be more than 300 stalls in the exhibition with over 110 companies have already booked 218 stalls which will  have a wide range of products in the millets & Organics.

2. International Pavilion with participation from various Countries & organisations.
3. International Conference with the theme:" Millets Organics & Natural Farming: Oppurtunities amidst Challenges.
4. Farmers Workshop.
5. Millet & Organic Food Court. 
6.Buyer - Seller Meets. AND
7.The Karnataka Pavilion which will showcase the smart agricultural policies,practices,technology varied agro climates and soil of the state which which makes Karnataka not just a producer,but the enabler of Next Gen Smart Food,new businesses,technology,producers,consumers & markets.

The Roadshow was inaugurated by Mr.B.C.Patil,Minister for Agriculture,Govt. of Karnataka.
