National Association of Realtors-India (NAR-India),the extended arm of NAR-USA,will hold the 14th Annual Convention of Realtors,Two day event on 6th & 7th August, at the iconic Bangalore Palace.This two day event will attract 2000 stakeholders from the real estate sector to discuss the current situation & the future of the Indian Real Estate Sector .This event will bring together participants from the Government, regulatory bodies & the leaders from the real estate sector.
The event will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Karnataka,Shri.Basavaraj Bommai. The participants will be viz: Mr.Samir Arora,President NAR-India &CREA(I),Mr.Ravi Varma,Vice Chairman-NAR India,Mr.Sumanth Reddy,Immediate Past President NAR India Mr.Tarun Bhatia,President Elect,NAR IndiaMr.Shiva Kumar,Convention Chairman, Mr.Pradeep Joe,Convention Co Chairman Mr. Santosh Avalakki & NAR Global Ambassador- Mr.Pradeep B Shukla.
The theme of this year's Convention is "Yes Realtor" to highlight "Respect for the profession" & ' "Respect for the professional".The event is hosted by CREA (I),the Confederation of Real Estate Associates (India) based in Bengaluru.The knowledge partners are IIM-Bangalore & CREDAI-Bengaluru are the official support partners for the event.
The Chairman of the Convention . Mr.Pradeep Joe, said," The real estate sector's contribution to the country's GDP is about 12% & one of the highest employers in the country& hence the real estate sector deserves the Industry status."Further, the convention will focus on repositioning of the realtors in the eyes of the general public.The convention will set the tone for requesting for One single Licence for realtors Pan India.
