ISTE Institutional Chapter,Faculty Chapter & Student Chapter were
inaugurated at Atria Institute of Technology,Anandnagar,Bangalore
yesterday. The Chief guest was Dr. Pratapsinh Kakaso Desai,President,
ISTE,New Delhi, Dr.Suresh D.S.Chairman Karnataka Section,ISTE,
was the Guest of Honour. Mr.K.Nagaraju, Trustee,Atria IT,Mr.Kaushik
Raju,Director- Technical,Atria IT, Dr.T.N.Sreenivasa,Principal AIT, &
Mr.Shaheem Rahiman,CEO,Atria Group were present on the occasion.
Addressing the students Dr.Pratapsinh Desai, stressed the need for upgrading
the skills continuously to match the needs of the industry.He said that the
technology should be used for the betterment of the humanity.
Dr. Sreenivasa,Principal outlined the activities of the Institution .To a query
by a journalist regarding bridging the gap between employability of the
engineering students who pass out & the needs of the industry,& the steps
to be taken by the Institution to bridge this gap, he said that the New
Education policy to be rolled out will address this need.

in Ananadanagar,Bangalore in a Campus spread over 17.5 acres with 2400
students,150 teaching staff & 40 doctorates.The placement last year was 75%.

(Rolling trophy) for the Best Department was awarded to Computer
Science department headed by Dr.Aishwarya,HOD,CSE.
