KERALA TOURISM LAUNCHES "TRAVEL NOW POST LATER" DIGITAL CAMPAIGN TO PROMOTE "MINDFUL TRAVEL"

 Kerala Tourism launches an International campaign titled ' Travel Now,Post Later' encouraging travelers to experience moments fully before sharing them On Line.The campaign aims to promote mindful travel by urging travelers to prioritize presence over performance and emotional connection over instant digital validation.Across the world, digital fatigue is reshaping how people experience travel.


The key messaging of the campaign focuses on presence led journeys,deeper emotional engagement,alignment with wellness,slow living and mindful exploration,and respect for local cultures,communities and natural environments. The message is clear -Seeing is Believing and make Travel an Experience.Travel Now Post Later will be rolled out across Kerala Tourism's official digital platforms and will be supported by a dedicated microsite https://travelnowpostlater.com/.

RAMAIAH MEMORIAL HOSPITAL ACHIEVES PRESTIGEOUS "FACT" ACCREDITATION - AMONG ONLY TWO HOSPITALS IN INDIA MEETING GLOBAL BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT STANDARDS.

Ramaiah Memorial Hospital (RMH)  has been awarded accreditation by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT),one of the world's most rigorous authorities for Quality & safety in bone marrow transplantation & Cellular therapy.With this recognition, RMH becomes the only hospital in India to hold both FACT & Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditations.This milestone reinforces India's shift toward outcome-driven,globally benchmarked cellular therapy. FACT accrditation comfirms compliance with internationally recognised FACT-JACIE standards-the global Gold standard in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.

The Hospital authorities said that Bone Marrow Transplantation in USA costs nearly USD 4,00,000 and in M.S.Ramaiah Memorial Hospital ,it may cost around 10% of the cost . Hence, the FACT Accreditation will promote Healthcare Tourism also for the country.

About the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) : FACT was established by the International Society for Cellular Therapy and the American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation  to develop global standards and an inspection based accreditation programme for hematopoietic cell therapy.

DRY EYE & OCULAR SURFACE SOCIETY (DEOSS) CONGRESS 3.0.

Dry Eye Disease (DED) is slowly emerging as an increasingly prevalent (5-30%) public health concern worldwide. Tears are essential for protecting,nourishing and maintaining a smooth ocular surface for clear vision.When tear quantity or quality is inadequate,or when tears evaporate too rapidly,tear film instability occurs,leading to inflammation & damage to the ocular surface.this results in symptoms such as discomfort,burning,redness & blurred vision.When this condition is persistent & progressive,itis known as Dry Eye Disease.With recent advance in diagnostics,Dry Eye Disease is being recognised as a complex,multifactorial condition. It is influenced by factors such as prolonged screen time,air conditioned environments,Pollutions,contact lens use,smoking and certain medications. Systemic conditions such as Sjogren's syndrome,Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD),auto immune diseases and thyroid disorders-can further exacerbate ocular dryness. Whe left untreate, Eye disease can significantly affect quality of life.DED cna slo significantly impact surgical outcomes in cataract & refractive surgeries,making it extremely important to address the problem of dry eyes.


The DEOSS Congress is one of the notable meetings in optahlmology dedicated to specifically to ocular surface health & dry eye disease,and has emerged as a key platform for translating cutting edge science into real world clinical desision making.
