Announces a support of 2 million Euros to India to help battle
recent surge in Covid 19 cases. Aid to be directed to procure
equipment for Oxygen supply & other necessary relief supplies.
This aid is being utilised for procuring equipment of 250 Oxygen
concentrators,100 ventilator units & setting up oxygen generation
plants in four Hospitals.A Part of this aid will also be utilised to
procure medicines for emergency care of employees & their families.
As part of their regular CSR activities,Merck had earlier donated over
160,000 face masks,disinfectants & thermal temperature scanners to
the frontline &health departments.
