EQUITAS SMALL FINANCE BANK -IPO AT PRICE BAND OF Rs.32-33.

 Equitas  Small Finance Bank,a subsidiary of  Equitas Holdings, is

coming out with an IPO at a price band of Rs.32-33.The Issue consists

of fresh issue of Rs.280 crores  & an offer for sale upto 72 million equity

shares by Equitas Holdings,will be open for anchor investors on October,19

and for all other investors between October,20 - 22.

Addressing  the virtual press conference for the IPO,Mr.P.N.Vasudevan,

MD & CEO of the bank said that leveraging the existing network of branches

AGGRESSIVE CHINA.

China can never be India's good friend as they donot want India to grow
economically. China does not want India  to have a say in global 
matters.India was invited by US to become member of G7 countries.
China was left out which has caused this problem.It is a common belief
globally that China has territorial ambitions.May it be Taiwan,Tibet or
even Hongkong.It was agreed that Hong Kong will have Two laws
though belonging to China. Hong was accustomed to freedom under
British rule. 

The recent clash at Galwan valley where we lost our 20 brave soldiers
is the result of simmering anger of China towards India..This is the time
where the entire opposition stands with the government as it is an
external aggression.They should leave their petty political squabbles
to settle score with the government.The opposition must know that the 
people of India is watching their action.

To keep the record straight,I searched in Net to find out whether there
was happening of similar incident .In 1967,Nathula -India lost 80 brave
soldiers.In 1962,China exploited India's vulnerability,and captured the 
Indian territory of Aksai Chin which was always part of Jammu & Kashmir.
They are still holding this territory,no governments after that took any steps
to get it back.There was also some rumours regarding US/ & Soviet Union's
offer to India to become permanent member of the UNSC & Nehru did not
evince interest.It is best left for debate.

About China's territorial ambitions:
China is not interested in clarity of LAC as can be seen in Dokalam,Chumar
& now in Ladakh.It suits their strategy  to manipulate & show their 
aggressive posturing from time to time to claim a small part of land
every time.

China is becoming a closed country where internet is monitored,censored 
and restricted. China is not interested in full scale war with India as
they know India is not what it was in 1962. They know that they will also
suffer losses.

LOCK DOWN 5.0 - IS IT NECESSARY?

Lock Down 5.0:
There are may people including few Chief Ministers of states,
Health experts,& some sections of Media may also want the
Lock Down to be extended for another Two weeks from May,31.
Many states have eased many curbs & people are going about
doing their routine. At this juncture extending the Lock down
may become counter productive.The government should also
consult,Sociologists,Psychologists & Economists to know their
views about the after effects of Lockdown like mental illness,
depression,way forward,the impact on society at large & above
all fate of our economy.Afterall,the show must go on. Enough
awareness has been created like social distancing, wearing masks,
avoid hugging & handshaking, spitting in public places & Personal
Hygiene etc. People are  generally responsible.However, few 
guidelines / Advisory can be given by either central / state 
governments.

VACCINE FOR CORONA VIRUS IN SIX MONTHS ?.

Prof.Gobardhan Das was the first immunologist in India to
talk about the impact BCG Vaccine to fight against the 
Corona Virus.He says," the BCG vaccine which contains 
live,weakened version of "Mycobacterium Bovis" can
give immunity against the Corona Virus". Can we be
assured by the Ministry Of Health & Science & Technology
whether they have approved this for clinical trials?.If so,
how long it takes to complete it and can we see the light 
at the end of the tunnel to get the immunity against the
Corona Virus?. The government should involve more 
scientists in the task force along with the doctors to find
a quick & lasting solution to the Corona virus as our
country is the largest producer of vaccine in the world.
we should lead the world in finding a vaccine to fight
against the Corona Virus & we will truly become the
world leader.

CORONA VIRUS AND THE LOCK DOWN - AFTER EFFECTS.

Donald Trump,American President, conveyed to the people
of his country that "reopening may cause deaths but 
Can't be sitting at home for 3 years".He wants the country
to return to normalcy soon.He maintained it was imperative
for the US to reopen for business even at the risk of a higher
 death toll,arguing that not doing so will also cause death 
from suicide & violence.

Can India,with poverty,poor infrastructure,low heathcare budget
& with huge population continue with Lockdown any more?.
Hospitals are only COVID centric & look at every patient as a
potential COVID patient.There are patients who require urgent
medical attention like Kidney ailments,heart ailments,Liver &
many more complaints,but they donot know where to go as there 
are barricades every where.

Though it is very IMPORTANT to consult Doctors & Healthcare
specialists on How to avoid spreading of Corona Virus,the
government also should consult sociologists,Psychologists,
and Economists to know the after effects of Lockdown. we 
cannot side step the economy of the country.Manufacturing,
service sector,Hospitality Industry & many more industries
big & small are suffering.Less said the better about daily 
wage earners,auto/Taxi drivers,migrant workers who are  
the backbone of any city.

We should come back to normalcy soon. Enough awareness
has been created,thanks to media.People should strictly follow
the guidelines like Social distancing,No Handshakes,frequent
handwash,avoid crowded places & personal hygiene.

NATIONAL LOCKDOWN WHETHER TO CONTINUE OR IMPOSE PARTIALLY.

The country is in Lockdown since 25th March till 14th April 2020
i.e for 3 weeks.It has acheived the desired results but for the incident
happened in the National Capital. However, we have largely contained
the Corona Virus pandemic which has drawn the attention of the world.
Now,we have reached a critical stage where we have to take a crucial
decision of coninuing the lockdown for another fortnight till April 3oth.
The people of India unitedly supported the National lockdown even at 
the cost of their livelihood as it is a national priority.The moot question
is whether the same support will be extended for further Lockdown for
a fortnight. Though,many Chief Ministers are in favour of extending 
the lockdown,the biggest worry for the Central government will be
post Lockdown when all the states approach the centre for assistance.
Already Punjab has put their claim for Rs.500 crores.

The problems of the migrant workers,daily wage earners,small
businesses, are suffering due to lack of earning,& to subsist.The
government should take into account various factors like starvation
deaths,crime,social unrest,the state of the economy post lockdown
etc. before taking any crucial decision.Yes,the Covid 19 situation is
not upto the expectation and it is spreading,but a balance has to
be arrived taking all indicators into consideration.

It is reported that in India over 25 lakhs people die of hunger every
year.Further Lockdown should not increase the starvation deaths.
Hence,the government has to factor this also before taking any
decision.

Hence, it is advisable to partially implement the Lockdown with 
some restrictions.They are:
1.Avoid crowding of places,may it be Malls,Theatres,Railway stations.
Bus stations,Airports,Places of Worship & even social functions
like marriages,meetings,seminars etc.

2.Section 144 to be continued with strict implementation as it is 
today. Every state should study their regions and act accordingly.

3.Hospitals should also attend to other patients who need urgent 
   medical attention & they should not be only concentrating on
 Covid patients.

WE AS A COUNTRY DOING RIGHT THINGS TO FIGHT CORNA VIRUS.

The World is lauding India for effective handling of spread of the 
dreaded corona virus.When the world including some developed
countries like China,Italy,spain,UK,USA,France, Canada& few 
Middle East Countries are fighting to deal with the crisis,India 
has taken the fight Head on.India leads Global war against
Corona Virus. Every country wants to adopt the Indian Model.
India is emerging as a global saviour by exporting HCQ to
countries which need them.
