USA announced the launch of a comprehensive cervical cancer prevention programme "Guard yourself' in Bengaluru in the presence of a panel of doctors.This programme aims to help fight cervical cancer which is the leading cancer affecting women in India and causing nearly 72,825 deaths every year.
The panel of doctors include Dr.Hema Diwakar, Dr. Sarawathi Ramesh,Dr.Pushpa Radhakri,Dr.V.Asha v kumar,Dr, Anuradha Pramesh,Dr.Revathy Prasad,and Dr.D.Sangeeta.Mr.K.G.Anathakrishnan,MD,MSD India was also present.Ms.Sameera Reddy,Bollywood actor was also present.
