The Institute of Company Secretaries of India(ICSI),   the premier Institute for training Company Secretaries in India signed MOU's with the Alliance University ,Bangalore Chamber of Industry & Commerce,Bangalore Stock Exchange Limited and Direct Taxes regional Training Institute to promote excellence in professional and legal education and research through cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Addressing the media,Mr.Nesar Ahmed,President ICSI said that the institute is in transformation stage.To face the challenges to provide real time value added services to the stake holders,the institute is embarking on major technology transformation to have real time e-mode solutions.The institute has also taken few initiatives towards Corporate Governance.They are:
1. Introduction of "Corporate Governance' in the syllabus.
2. Setting up of ICSI-Centre of Corporate Governance Research & Training.
3. Directors development programmes.
4. Conducting Transnational conferences on corporate governance.
5. Post membership qualification course in Corporate governance was introduced by the institute.
6. The institute brings out publications regularly to members  and 
    Corporate Sector to inculcate culture of good governance.
