FM INAUGURATES 100 BRANCHES,100 ATM'S & 
100 DIGITAL VILLAGES OF VIJAYA BANK.


Finance minister Arun Jaitley inaugrated  100 Branches,
100 ATM's & 100 Digital branches of Vijaya Bank today.

While inaugurating the branches,the Finance Minister said,
complimented the bank for its initiatives in creating a digital
economy by adopting 100 digital villages. He said that the 
government & RBI have taken various steps  to bring down the
cost of digital transactions to encourage the people to adopt
digital payments .

Vijaya bank under its corporate social responssibility initiative,
adopted 100 girl children belonging to SC/ST/OBC & economically
weaker sections of the society in the age group of 5 years & above.The
bank will bear their educational expenses upto post graduation level.
