SCOOT & TIGER AIR MERGED TODAY UNDER ONE BRAND
'SCOOT' BRAND.

Both the merged airlines were fully owned by Singapore Airlines.The
airline will operate under one  code  i.e TR.
The airline has a network of 65 destinations across 18 countries.The airline 
operates 50 weekly flights between India & Singapore.It is a point To point carrier .
The airline adopted a new tagline "Escape the ordinary".

To celebrate the merger to the single 'Scoot' brand,the airline offers One-way
promotional fares from Bengaluru to Singapore to as low as INR 4,999, To 
Bali INR 9,799,  INR 10,499 to  Hong Kong, INR 12,499 to Melbourne/Sydney
among others. Additional 10% discounts  are also available through promotional
codes for a booking period from 25th July to 06 August,2017.

Addressing the media,Mr.R.V.Deshpande,Minister for Heavy & Medium Industry
& Infrastructure,Government of Karnataka  stressed the need for promoting Tourism
in the state and suggested the airline to operate from Tier 2 cities like Mangalore,Hubli
& Belgaum also.
