KARNATAKA CHIEF MINISTER SIDDARAMIAH PRESENTS
RECORD 11th STATE BUDGET.

The Chief Minister Siddaramiah says," Priorities of the government
reflected in the past three budgets are continued in this budget also.
New policies have been framed for Education & Health sectors".

Heavy industrial areas in Bengaluru(Peenya & Bommasandra),
Mysuru,Belagavi & Hubballi declared Industrial Townships.

Value Added Tax (VAT) is reduced from 14.5% to5.5% on set top
boxes,helmets,LED bulbs,multimedia speakers,paper boards,
adult diaper may bring some cheer to people.But the decision to
increase entertainment tax from 6% to 10%  is not a welcome move
says the Cable operators.The hike may directly affect the consumers.

The Pub Capital of India does not welcome the increase in the cost
of the Beer and Indian Made Foreign liquor.The government says 
this move is to promote Responsible drinking.

The Opposition says the Budget is an Insipid Budget.
