PRESS RELEASE

CANCELLATION/DETENTION/REGULATION/RESCHEDULE OF TRAINS

The following trains are cancelled, detained, regulated and rescheduled on 01.07.2012 (ONE DAY ONLY) from 11.00 a.m., to 05.00 p.m. on 01.07.2012 due to operational reasons:-

1. Train Nos.12609/12610 Chennai – Bangalore City – Chennai Express is cancelled.        (ONLY FOR ONE DAY I.E., ON 01.07.2012)

2. Train Nos.12028 Bangalore City – Chennai Shatabdi Express, 17314 Hubli – Chennai Express and 12608 Bangalore – Chennai Lalbagh Express will be detained at arakkonam for 20 minutes.

3. Train No.12295 Bangalore City – Patna Express will be regulated at Katpadi from 12.45 p.m., to 03.45 p.m.

4. Train No.12296 Patna – Bangalore City Express will be regulated at Chennai from 02.00 p.m., hrs to 02.15 p.m.

5. Train No.17311 Chennai – Hubli Express scheduled to leave Chennai at 14.10 hrs is rescheduled to leave at 15.30 hrs.

6. Train No.12607 Chennai – Bangalore Lalbath Express scheduled to leave Chennai at 03.35 p.m., is rescheduled to leave Chennai at 04.15 p.m.

PRESS RELEASE

TRAIN COMPOSITION REVISED

I.     With effect from 01.07.2012 to 31.10.2012, the composition of Train No.16731 / 16732 Mysore – Tuticorin – Mysore Express will be temporarily revised as:  

1 Two Tier AC coach, 2 Three Tier AC coaches, 11 Second Class Sleeper coaches, 2 General Second Class coaches , 1 luggage-cum-disabled passengers’ car and 1 Second Class Sitting- cum-Luggage Van.

 (The present composition is 1 Two Tier AC coach, 2 Three Tier AC coaches, 9 Second Class Sleeper coaches, 4 General Second Class coaches,1l uggage-cum-disabled passengers’ car, and 1 Second Class Sitting- cum-Luggage Van)

II.     With effect from 01.07.2012 to 31.10.2012, the composition of Train No.16231 / 16232 Mysore – Maiyiladuthurai – Mysore Express will be temporarily revised as:

 1 Two Tier AC coach, 2 Three Tier AC coaches, 11 Second Class Sleeper coaches, 2 General Second Class coaches , 1 luggage-cum-disabled passengers’ car. and 1 Second Class Sitting- cum-Luggage Van.

(The present composition is 1 Two Tier AC coach, 1 Three Tier AC coach, 11 Second Class Sleeper coaches, 3 General Second Class coaches, and 2 Second Class Sitting- cum-Luggage Van)

The above changes will come into effect from 01.07.2012 Ex. Mysore and from 02.07.2012 Ex. Tuticorin and Maiyiladuthurai.
