India's moment has come to become a permanent member of the UN Security Council . Now only FIVE countries are the permanent members of the UN Security Council with VETO powers viz.Russia China,France,United Kingdom & United States Of America. India is emerging as one of the Super powers,with proven democracy & a population of 1.40 billion people, & the most populous country in the world. If UN has to effectively function asper the UN Charter, India must have a place in UNSC as India's population is around 18% of global population.
