COMEDK & UGET/ UNI-GAUGE 2026 ENTRANCE EXAMINATION SCHEDULED FOR 09th MAY 2026.OVER 1,40,000 STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO APPEAR FOR THE EXAMINATION.

This unified national level test serves as a gateway to undergraduate engineering admissions across 150+ engineering colleges in Karnataka and 30+ reputed private,self-funded and deemed universities across India.The examination is intended for candidates seeking admission to BE/B.Tech programs offered by institutions affiliated with the Karnataka unaided   Private engineering colleges association (KUPECA) and Uni-Gauge member Universities.The Computer based test will be conducted in 200+ cities across India, spanning 400+ test centres.Over 1,40,000 students are expected to appear for the examination.Candidates from across the country are eligible to apply.

KERALA TRAVEL MART 2026 TO BE HELD IN KOCHI IN SEPTEMBER.

Kerala Travel Mart (KTM) ,India's largest tourism & hospitality event,will be held in Kochi from September 24 to 27,2026. The 13th edition of the three day event will feature business -to-business meetings,policy level discussions and seminars,attended by leading industry stakeholders and national & international experts,says Mr.P.A.Mohamed Riyas,Tourism Minister,Kerala in a press conference.The inauguration of the event will be held at Grand Hyatt,Kochi,Bolgatty on September,24,2026. The business meetings,the central feature of the event will be held from September,25 to27 at the Sagara and Samudrika Convention Centre on Wellingdon Island.The upcoming edition Of KTM is expected to attract 400  plus international buyers and 1500 plus domestic buyers and high value MICE & wedding planners.Kerala Travel Mart Society,which organises KTM will make further efforts to increase the participation of buyers from new markets,while ramping up the number of buyers from the existing markets.

YAMAHA'S FIRST ELECTRIC SCOOTER EC06 IN KARNATAKA . ROLL - OUT MARKS KARNATAKA'S CONTINUED FOCUS ON ELECTRIC MOBILITY & ADVANCED MANUFACTURING.

YAMAHA  rolled out its first Electric Scooter EC06 in Karnataka and the Roll-out took place at River Mobility's manufacturing facility in Hoskote,Bangalore Rural district  by Mr. M.B.Patil,Minister for Large  & Medium Scale Industries (excluding sugar) ,Government of Karnataka.The event was also attended by Mr.Sharath Kumar Bacche Gowda,MLA,Hoskote. Mr.Jim Aota,Chairman,Yamaha India and Senior representatives of Yamaha &  Mitsui were also present.

Addressing the gathering Mr.M.B.Patil said,"This is truly an exciting moment not just for the companies involved,but for Karnataka's industrial growth story.". Yamaha EC-06 is a practical electric scooter for daily commuting,featuring a 4kWH battery,a 4.5kW mid mounted motor (peak6.7kW) offering a 160 kms range (IDC) and a 90 km/h top speed,with a 9 hour charge time,disc brakes,14inch wheels and modern amenities like a color LCD display,built on a River indie base. The suspension is telescopic front fork, with twin rear shocks. The storage is 24.5 litre under -seat storage.

INDIA SHOULD BECOME A PERMANENT MEMBER OF THE UN SECURITY COUNCIL WITH VETO POWERS.

 India's moment has come to become a permanent member of the UN Security Council . Now only FIVE countries are the permanent members of the UN Security Council  with VETO powers viz.Russia  China,France,United Kingdom & United States Of America. India is emerging as one  of the Super powers,with proven democracy & a population of 1.40 billion people, & the most populous country in the world.  If UN has to effectively function asper the UN Charter, India must have a place in UNSC  as India's population is around 18% of global population.
