INDIRA FOODS -A HOME GROWN BRAND IN READY TO COOK & ALSO VARIOUS PASTES INVESTS Rs. 25 CRORES IN A NEW MANUFACTURING FACILITY.

 Indira Food Pvt.Ltd., invests Rs.25 crores  in a new manufacturing facility in Mandya District, Karnataka.Among its many initiatives is the launch of Rasam paste and also other new products designed to disrupt the FMCG market further.The Company has also roped in Mr.Ullas Kamath,Chairman,FICCI Karnataka State Council as Advisor on the Board. A new 1.2 lkh Sq.ft manufacturing facility is coming up in Mandya District,Karnataka with an investment of Rs.25 crores.Mr. Satish Ninasam,Film star will be the Brand Ambassador for the products of the Company.

Indira Foods was started in 1991 by Smt.Indira to bring natural ragi, cereal based products back into mainstream food with the convenience of the modern world.Indira Foods manufacturing facilities are ISO 22000:2005 certified and also FSSAI certified. Indira Foods is also star-Kosher certified and is also green listed by US FDA. Indira Foods is presently in Four product categories viz.Ragi products,Tamarind Concentrate and tomato Pastes,Instant Rasam Pastes,Ketchup,Jam and Pickles.
Indira Foods has 3 brands under which its products are sold.they are Indira's,Splitz and Pingani.The Company also exports bulk products as well as own brand products  to various countries. All products are currently manufactured out of two state-of-the-art facilities in Yelachenahalli and Jigani in the outskirts of Bengaluru.

Mr.Vijay C,Director,Indira Foods said,"we had clocked Rs.45 crores in the last financial year and aim to expand rapidly with newer additions in the product line.Today Indira Foods employs 250 people and aims to add another 100 people in the next one year as part of its expansion plans".
