CPRI CELEBRATES DIAMOND JUBILEE WITH INSTITUTE DAY .

Central Power Research Institute (CPRI),an autonomous
body under Minisytry of Power,Government of India, 
celebrates Diamond Jubilee with the Institute Day.To 
Mark the occassion,Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Lecture
was arranged.The Theme of the Lecture was" The Global
Energy Scenario & Hydrogen Economy".The lecture was
delivered by Prof.G.D.Yadav, Padmashri,& Professor
Emeritus,Institute of Chemical Technology,Mumbai.

CPRI-Diamond Jubilee Special Postal Cover was 
released byDr.Charles Lobo,IPoS,Chief Post Master 
General,Karnataka Circle.CPRI, undertakes R&D Activities 
& is the nodal agency for funding research schemes in the Power 
Generation,Transmission & Distribution of electricity.CPRI 
is the recognised certifying agency for electrical equipment for 
energy efficient operation in accordance with the standards 
and labelling programme of Bureau of Energy Efficiency.
