Deafness,which refers to partial or complete loos of hearing,is one of the most common congenital disabilities in the world.as per WHO report,there are about 250 to 300 million people deaf in the world. Of which,2/3 live in under developed countries.In India one out of every 12 persons suffers from hearing loss.
