# Net Profit down by 25.20% .
# Operating profit down by 6.71%.
# Global deposits Up by 18.92%.
# Global advances Up by 15.17%.
# CASA Deposits Up by 8.28%.
# Gross NPA is at 2.80% as against 2.31%.
# Net NPA is at 1.66%as against 0.85%. 
# Book value per share increased to Rs.198.17.
# Earnings per share (EPS) stood at Rs.28.84 as against Rs.31.28 in December,2012.
# Capital Adequacy Ratio( Basel II) is at 11.55% & CAR ( Basel III) is at 11.26%.
#The bank declared interim dividend of 25% on 9th january,2014.

cities to speed up the process of Housing loan sanctions and provide quick & hassle free sanctions at the door step of the customers.The bank is aiming to reach a total business figure of Rs.2.50 lac crores by March,2014.

Mr.P.S.Subba Rao,General Manager, of the bank said,Bangalore Zone is having 103
branches spread over Karnataka & Kerala states.They have plans to  open another  
10 branches before the end of March,2014.

 "It is not  going to  be dramatic step up,but definitely I think the outlook is 
 positive and we do see that the direction of change is up,not down." says

NASSCOM had estimated 12 to 14 % growth for the Indian software services
Industry in financial year 2014.The industry aims to achieve business of
$300 billion by 2020.

SWISS BANKS TO LIFT SECRECY VEIL?

Swiss banking has long standing history of secrecy.Since 1934 it is a criminal
offence to  disclose the identities of the clients.This included sharing information 
with third parties such as tax agencies & foreign governments. Swiss banks are 
said to hold 27% of the world's offshore wealth holdings.

With the greater exchange of  information & increased transparency,the days of
the banking secrecy of the past appear to be numbered.It is reported number of 
Swiss banks have been forced to close their doors and over a dozen foreign banks
have closed offices in Switzerland  in the past two years.Thanks to US crackdown
on Swiss banks  to expose US clients avoiding tax and the banks that are helping 
them.
