ORKLA INDIA LIMITED -LAUNCHES ITS IPO.

 Orkla India Limited, (Company), Bengaluru based,multi category,Indian Food Company launched its IPO.The IPO opened for subscription on October,29,2025 and will close on October,31,2025.The Company's shares are proposed to be listed on November,6,2025 on the NSE & BSE  Stock Exchanges.ORKLA India IPO is a book build Issue of Rs.1667.54 crores .ORKLA India IPO price band is Rs.695/- to Rs.730/- per share of  Face value of Re.1.The issue includes a reservation of upto 30,000 shares for employees offered at a discount of Rs.69/- to the issue price.



The Company is engaged in the manufacturing & marketing of multi category Indian food like MTR and EASTERN which are known for its authencity and tradition and are deeply rooted in South Indian culinary heritage.The key product categories it offers are spices and  "ready to eat" & "Ready To Cook"categories. The MTR brand was originally established in 1924  & the Company celebrated its centenary last year.ORKLA India's portfolio of products comprises approximately 400 products across all categories.The EASTERN brand was founded in 1983.

ORKLA India is a subsidiary of ORKLA ASA,a Norway listed Company with a legacy spanning over 370 years. ORKLA is head quartered in Norway and its Indian story began in 2007 when it acquired MTR Foods for Rs.353 crores.

FIRE CRACKER RELATED INJURIES -NARYANA NETHRALYA.

 This year there has been a worrying rise in fire cracker -related injuries,with many children,bystanders and innocent people getting hurt while  celebrating the festival.Narayana Nethralaya has witnessed surge in fire cracker -related eye injuries this Deepavali.In this regard,Dr.Naren Shetty, Director,Narayana Nethralya,shared the demographic data of those affected.Between 19th October and 23rd October, a total of 93 patients with fire cracker -related eye injuries were reported of which adults are ;37, Children (below 18 years); 56,Bystanders:32 & self inflicted injuries: 61. Medical treatment provided :86 & Surgical interventions required : 7.

Types of Injuries: Ranged from mild corneal abrasions to severe cases involving corneal tears,epithelial defects and lens dislocation.By combining caution with festive joy ,we can prevent accidents and protect vision-says Dr.Naren Shetty.

WINDERGY INDIA 2025 WILL BE HELD IN CHENNAI FROM OCTOBER,29 TO 31 AT CHENNAI TRADE CENTRE-THEME: WIND POWER ;POLICIES & PARTNERSHIPS TOWARDS AATMANIRBHARTA

WINDERGY INDIA 2025,india's only Trade fair & Conference dedicated to the wind energy turn seven this year, as Chennai prepares to host WINDERGY INDIA 2025 FROM oCTOBER,29 TO 31 AT THE Chennai Trade Centre,with more than 30 countries participating & over 15,000 people  expected to attend as visitors.
