YAMAHA'S FIRST ELECTRIC SCOOTER EC06 IN KARNATAKA . ROLL - OUT MARKS KARNATAKA'S CONTINUED FOCUS ON ELECTRIC MOBILITY & ADVANCED MANUFACTURING.

YAMAHA  rolled out its first Electric Scooter EC06 in Karnataka and the Roll-out took place at River Mobility's manufacturing facility in Hoskote,Bangalore Rural district  by Mr. M.B.Patil,Minister for Large  & Medium Scale Industries (excluding sugar) ,Government of Karnataka.The event was also attended by Mr.Sharath Kumar Bacche Gowda,MLA,Hoskote. Mr.Jim Aota,Chairman,Yamaha India and Senior representatives of Yamaha &  Mitsui were also present.



Addressing the gathering Mr.M.B.Patil said,"This is truly an exciting moment not just for the companies involved,but for Karnataka's industrial growth story.". Yamaha EC-06 is a practical electric scooter for daily commuting,featuring a 4kWH battery,a 4.5kW mid mounted motor (peak6.7kW) offering a 160 kms range (IDC) and a 90 km/h top speed,with a 9 hour charge time,disc brakes,14inch wheels and modern amenities like a color LCD display,built on a River indie base. The suspension is telescopic front fork, with twin rear shocks. The storage is 24.5 litre under -seat storage.
