HONDA LAUNCHES ITS SMALL CAR BRIO IN INDIA.

Honda Siel cars India,launched its samll car BRIO ( pronounced as Br-ee-o) meaning energetic and cheerful in Italian.

Brio is a four cylinder,1.2 litre i-VTEC engine that delivers maximum output of 88PS @6000 rpm and Torque of 109Nm(11.2kg-m) @4500 rpm,while giving an excellent fuel economy of 18.4.km/l as per their test data.Brio is available in 5-speed manual transmission with optimised gear ratios.

Addressing the media,Mr.Takashi Nagai,President and CEO Honda Siel Cars india said," we are delighted to introduce Honda Brio in the Indian market. We have achieved this through pure localisation of critical componenets,using local suppliers,local materials,local machines and dies by localised drawings through our Indian associates".The localisation level is more than 80% which may even go upto 90% shortly.

Honda Brio is manufactured at their facility in Greater Noida,U.P.Hond Brio will be available in four variants-EMT,SMT,S(O)MT and VMT in six colours viz.Energetic Blue,Rallye Red,Urban Titanium,Alabaster Silver,Taffeta White,and Crystal Black Pearl.Honda Brio comes with a 2 years or 40,000kms warranty as standard value for all customers.

The ex-show room price in Bengaluru will be ranging from Rs.4.03 lacs to 5.22 lacs for different variants.
