BPCL ROLLS OUT SECOND PHASE OF SETTING UP EV CHARGING STATIONS IN SOUTHERN INDIA.

 Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL),a Maharatna  and  a Fortune Global 500 Company, announced the launch of EV Fast charging stations on Two Cooridors the southern region of India i.e Bangalore- Chennai and Bangalore-Mysore-Coorg Highway. The fast chargers follow CCS-2 Protocol and are strategically located at nine of its fuel stations with an approximate distance of 100 kms on both sides of the routes.

BPCL plans to provide CCS-2 EV charging stations at its fuel pumps at periodic intervals on all major national highways connecting major cities & economic centres in the country.the Chennai-Trichy-Madurai highway was part of the first phase.The fast charger can be self operated without any manual assistance,however support staff will be available,if and when needed.

Speaking on the launch Mr.P.S.Ravi,Executive Director in-Charge (Retail),BPCL said," Our leading edge in providing "Superior " solution & experiences will serve our EV customers along the two new corridors and will provide a Pure for sure experience in this exciting journey of electric mobility & also  achieve India's EV dream of transitioning to cleaner alternatives."

With the launch,BPCL aims at accelerating its focus on new business segments and converting its 7000 conventional  Retail outlets into Energy Stations providing multiple fueling options including EV charging facility in the medium to long term.BPCL fuel stations offer the customers added   convenience of clean & Hygienic washrooms ,cash withdrawals,safe & secure parking while charging,free digital air facility,24 hour operations & also offer Hygienic food through its strategic alliances with leading brands like McDonald's,A2B,Cube stop,Cafe Coffee Day & other local outlets.

BPCL is also launching  FUEL 'E' Gift Voucher  which can be gifted also.

SAE INDIA SETS AGENDA FOR THE FUTURE OF MOBILITY,WITH THE FIRST EVER SUSTAINABLE MULTI MODAL MOBILITY CONFERENCE - SIIMC 2022.

 The Society of Automotive Engineers India (SAE INDIA) is back with the 10th edition of its flagship event SAEINDIA,International mobility Conference (SIIMC 2022),which is the first ever International Sustainable Multi Modal  Mobility Conference. The SIIMC 2022 conference is scheduled from October,12 - 14,2022.The Three day event is held at Hilton Bengaluru Embassy Manyata Business Park.The theme for this year's conference is : "Sustainable Multi Modal Mobility Eco System."
