Hafele India opened its first exclusive Design showroom for the
Hafele Appliances range in Bengaluru.This showroom showcases 
the entire range of Hafele's in-house premium appliances  with
a holistic collection from cooking,baking,refrigeration & cleaning
appliances.The Hafele Appliances showroom is located very near 
to Company's  Main design showroom at Langford Road,in Bengaluru.

The bank recently raised capital of Rs.248 crores which will 
give the bank strong capital base to pursue their growth plans.
The base of the bank is Rs. 1616 crores ,& Networth of Rs.890 crores.

The bank is a scheduled commercial Bank & started its operations in
January 2017. The bank gives competitive rates of interest to its depositors.
The banks gives 7.25% interest for savings accounts,upto 9% interest
on Fixed deposits and upto 9.5% to senior citizens.

To a query by the Editor, Mr.Baskar Babu,M.D & CEO of the bank
regarding IPO & listing in stock exchange,he said the bank may
consider before December,2020.

BEL CMD WINS DISTINGUISHED ENGINEER AWARD.

Mr.Gowtama M.V,Chairman & Managing Director,
Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL),received the Distinguished
Engineer Award Instituted by the Engineering Council of India.
He received the award from Mr. Anil Baijal,Lt.Governor of
Delhi,at a ceremony held in New Delhi.

R.A.SANKARA NARAYANAN NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR & CEO OF CANARA BANK.

Mr.R.A.Sankara Narayanan has taken over the 
charge as Managing Director & CEO
of Canara Bank on 15.04.2019. He was the MD & 
CEO of Vijaya Bank earlier before joining Canara Bank.

UNISYS ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF THE 10th ANNUAL CLOUD 20/20 CONTEST.

This years contest featured more than 270 colleges and over 300 projects,
as students were challenged to think out of the box & develop innovative 
ideas.The project titled Vesa- Blockchain Based Supply Chain Management
by the students of Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology,Bangalore was
the Winner.The Students of Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College,
Puducherry was placed in the second place for their project titled su PILVI.
The students of Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering,Mangalore
was placed in the third place for their project Smart Telematics System.

Winning teams were awarded cash prizes upto Rs.4.25 lakhs & a Trophy.
Unisys offered 20 internships and 8 job placements to the finalists and
winners of  this year's competition.

STERLITE POWER COMPLETES INDIA'S FIRST LIVE LINE RECONDUCTORING PROJECT.

Sterlite Power, a transmission company successfully completed India's first
live-line project in Bengaluru.The Company successfully undertook the  
reconductoring of a 66KV transmission line connecting to Bengaluru's 
Electronic City under live-line conditions.This project is first of its kind
in the country by doubling line's capacity with zero shut down thus causing
no disruption to power supply to the area & community.

Commenting on the completion of the project,Mr.Manish Agarwal,CEO,

BANK OF BARODA 2nd LARGEST PUBLIC SECTOR BANK POST MERGER.

The merger of Bangalore based Vijaya Bank & Dena Bank with
Bank of Baroda comes into effect from 1st April,2019.


This is the first three way consolidation of banks in India.With this
the combined entity Bank of Baroda will have 9500 branches,13,400 ATM's
85,000 employees serving 120 million+ customers with a business mix of 
Rs.15 lakh + crores.The bank plans to build upon the strengths of the three
banks,their synergies & scale up the operations with a wider customer base.
The top management of Bank Baroda mentioned that the employee interests
will be protected  & the best of HR practices adopted by each of the three
banks will be examined for adoption.

CADABAM GROUP SIGNS WITH UK's NORTHUMBERLAND,TYNE AND WEAR NHS.

Cadabam,a private provider of mental health  services based in Bengaluru
ties up with UK's Northumberland,Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust
to enhance the quality of mental health care services in India.The foundation
will be  working as knowledge partner with Cadabam group.

John Lawlor,Chief executive of NTW & Sandesh R Cadabam,Director of
