DO WE REQUIRE CELEBRITY MP'S   IN RAJYA SHABHA?.

According to the reports Mr.Sachin Tendulkar & Ms.Rekha who are
nominated  to Rajya Sabha in 2012 have  very poor attendance in Rajya Sabha.
As per the media reports  Sachin has 8% attendance & Rekha has 5% attendance.
This is not acceptable.

They were nominated to Rajya Sabha as they are Icons & the nation expects
them to participate in the discussions & contribute their valuable suggestions
in the temple of democracy.

In case they are not able to attend the Parliament due to their commitments,
they should resign. Having committed to be an MP,they should attend atleast
50% of the sessions. Is it asking too much from them as they are eligible to all
the perks of an MP ?
