VIJAYA BANK -Q3 RESULTS ENDING DECEMBER,2014.

Total business of the bank registered a growth of 8.12% and is now at Rs.2,03,187 crores.

Deposits at Rs.1,24,051 crores & Advances at Rs.79,136 crores.
CASA Up by 15.54% to Rs.23,671 crores.
Net Interest Income up by 12.14%.
Operating profit up by 109%.
Net profit up by 228.36%.
Gross NPA is at 2.92%
Net NPA is at 1.89%.
Provision Coverage ratio is at 65.77%.
CRAR (Basel III is at 10.57%.  Number of branches : 1565, Number of ATM's: 1568.
Total Staff strength:13686. Cost of Funds:7.43%  & Yield on Advances :9.105.
The bank is operating on a thin margin of 1.67%.When this point was raised by
our Editor, the MD said,yes it is a "cause for worry" and we will be shedding
high cost of deposits and we will reach 2% by March ,2015.The bank should
increase CASA Deposits  from the present 19.08% , to reduce the cost of funds.
